The network brings together critical scholarship on political economy. Our interests are rooted in but not limited to European political economies. It is a platform to promote and facilitate such research endeavours, to reassert the critical political economy perspective in European Sociology and European social science in general, and to promote critical and emancipatory scholarship in Europe.
The network was established in 2005 and is a member of the European Sociological Association (ESA).
