The French National Research Institute for Development (IRD) is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary organisation working primarily in partnership with Mediterranean and intertropical countries. The IRD is a key French player on the international development agenda. It works based on an original model: equitable scientific partnership with developing countries, primarily those in the intertropical regions and the Mediterranean area.
IRD seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral research assistant to review and synthesize the literature on climate change, agriculture, sustainable development goals and deliver a draft white paper addressing the interlinkages between the Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture (KJWA – UNFCC) and the Sustainable Development Goals. Taking these interrelations into account would enable the KJWA to better build upon synergies and address trade-offs between different options.
